Mixing style

It’s not just about pressing play—it’s about reading the room, creating the energy, and keeping the party vibes high all night. 


There’s so much music and not enough time to play them all, so I like playing the best parts of songs and mixing right into the next one to keep a full dance floor.

I provide premium audio equipment and a clear feed for your videographer.

MC/Hosting style

Anti-Cringe on the mic, I host/MC only for essential announcements and introductions.


I'm not a fan of the spotlight, I let the music do most of the talking.

I let the music speak for itself. I don't hype on the mic all night; I let the chorus do that. 


Unlike most DJs, I welcome requests—I'll blend your must-play list with guest request that don't kill the vibe, and I'll mix in the bangers that tie it all together.

I’ve made it easy for you through the Vibo app! Couples are loving the progress tracker, the flexibility to make updates as they go, and the convenience of uploading songs directly from their Spotify playlists.

FAQs

I have a back-up DJ on notice the day of your event. If I'm able to, I like to bring along an assistant, and I always have back-up equipment at the ready to go so the party doesn't stop.

I'm insured by Great American E&S Insurance, policy number PLE786898-CDJA89966, General Liability Limit $2,000,000 / $1,000,000

I require a non-refundable reservation fee of $500.00, that's applied to the balance.

The balance must be paid in full one week prior to your event.

Event planning and song requests are handled through the Vibo app on your phone/tablet (available on Apple and Android). 


I’m also available throughout the planning process and like to meet for coffee (or Zoom) a couple of weeks before to ensure I understand your vision and expectations.

I always include photographer-friendly dance floor lighting so it looks great in photos.


If uplighting is something you desire, I can make that happen for an additional fee.

I always provide two wireless microphones for speakers during the day.

I love road trips! Last summer, I found myself all over Minnesota, Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, Northern Iowa, Western Wisconsin, and Door County, Wisconsin. I'm down for adventure. I'm not afraid of flying, so if you're tying the knot somewhere sunny, let’s make it happen!

Nope. Not my style. 

I don’t charge by the hour. I dedicate 12-14 hours to your day, from start to finish. My standard is to arrive three hours before your guests to begin set-up. Please note, I’ll also need about an hour to pack up and load out my equipment.

Always me, sometimes I bring an assistant, but I'm the DJ. I don't sub-contract out my service, and I never double book.
